2019 is coming fast… which announce the French winter sales! A great occasion to come to Paris or to go on the French Rivera or to ski in the French Alpes and to do some shopping. Here is all you need to know about this period of promotions in France.
Winter sales 2019
For six weeks, consumers will be able to benefit from promotional offers, between Wednesday, January 9 and Tuesday, February 19, 2019. These dates may vary in some departments of the Grand Est, such as Meurthe-et-Moselle, or in the French overseas territories. For the occasion, all major brands are also preparing to present their offers to their customers, online and in stores.
The Secretary of State at the Ministry of Economy and Finance, Agnès Pannier-Runacher, confirmed on December 28 the beginning date of the sales. They will start well on January 9, 2019, and not January 2, as requested by the President of the Confederation of Independent Traders. Balances will not be advanced this year.

In Paris, the sales will start on Wednesday, January 9 and ended on Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
